The Remote Advantage

For this remote worksite the facility operator needed to access pipe flanges and attached specialized equipment to perform multiple maintenance and operational activities. We pre-assembled all 23 platforms to verify quality and ensure a complete build was shipped with everything included. This means every install was complete, accurate and no missing parts. Waiting for missing parts is expensive especially when in remote locations. All Mechano Max modular solutions are shipped with detailed assembly instructions for easy on-site installation.

Custom Designed for Fit and Flexibility

There were 23 unique platforms across the site. The exact configuration and dimensions were different for each and they needed to be simple to assemble, easy to adjust and provide safe reliable worksites.

Height, length, width, number of access points, pipe positions and slope, ladders required and locations were all different. Each platform had common features and common requirements so that fine tuning and later adjustments could be simple and quick.

When special equipment was needed or site structures like drains or grates existed, the custom modular designs could be easily modified to accommodate all requirements.

Platform frames were adjusted and subframe structures were raised or shifted as required without losing functionality, saftey, or ease of install.

Modularity That Simplifies Assembly

Ensuring smooth assembly and disassembly in the field under real-world conditions begins long before the system reaches the job site. The access platforms are built and validated in the Mechano Max shop to ensure quality and to check every detail in the step-by-step instructions. For consistent operation, every adjustment, fine tuning features and component is verified.

Detailed Instructions make it easy to assemble the platform even in the most difficult circumstances and with no welding, cutting or grinding. Which means no Hot Work, so no additional permits, shutdowns or inspections. No risk to equipment or personnel from heat or cutting means faster, safer installations.
