Mechano Max is proud to a contributing member of the annual Kimmett Cup Ice Hockey Fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation. The Kimmett Cup is a 3-on-3 pond hockey tournament held annually on the third weekend of January at Mitford Pond in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. The tournament benefits the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization. To date, more than $2,000,000 has been invested into the community in Lindsay’s name.
Every year the Mechano Max and volunteers assemble the Broadcast Booth tower. Mechano Max has donated all of the booth material and labour throughout the years. The tower provides a bird’s eye view of the action for the media, announcers, photographers, VIP seating, and tournament officials overlooking the 4 rinks below. It also provides ample space for highly visible advertiser banners which generate revenue for the charities.
Every year we enter a team called the Puck Junkies and our team raises money for Children’s Wish Foundation. Please help our team reach our goal of $2000 in support of the Children's Wish Foundation!
Tristan was the 2016 Kimmett Cup Children’s Wish Ambassador. Sadly Tristan passed away following a nearly 4 year courageous battle with Cancer. Tristan eagerly encouraged others to give of themselves by sharing his story and emphasizing the power a Wish has on children fighting to survive.dation!
